No. 2 - Daron Roberts on Developing Risk Tolerance

Listen Later

This past March while attending SXSW in Austin, Texas, I peeled away to spend a few hours with a most inspiring man, Daron Roberts. Daron's resume is beyond impressive. He's a Harvard Law School Grad, turned NFL Coach, who recently founded the Center for Sports Leadership and Innovation at the University of Texas.
Impressive right? And yet, it's the story that weaves together these accomplishments that's even more mind-blowing. Daron has faced rejection at every turn. It took 31 rejection letters before the Kansas City Chiefs gave him an internship at a training camp. His persistence and commitment to his dreams is unparalleled.
Daron is on a mission to eradicate risk aversion and I'm convinced he's going to do it.
Daron is also the author of Call An Audible, recently named one of Sports Illustrated's Best Sports Business Books of 2017.
