Coming to the end of 2023, do I have any regrets? No. I learned in 2023 that regrets or shame cannot define my life. Regrets and shame come from the enemy, and that's not how my heavenly father wants me to view my life. Did I make some mistakes? Absolutely. Did I screw up many things? Absolutely. Did I love my wife like Christ loves the church every day? Nope, but I wanted to. Did I love every person God brought before me? Nope, but I wanted to. Did I live my life in a way that pointed people to Jesus? Most of the time. That, to me, is a victory. 2023 will go down in the annals of "Jim's history" as a year where God showed himself not in my activity but in my obedience. Happy New Year!
