Like a parrot on the verandah, footy came, delighted us, and left. We had something to hold onto in this (can I say unprecedented? Such a cliche. I'm gonna say unprecedented) unprecedented moment. Something to look forward to, ie; a premiership cup coloured sunset orange. And now we are left alone and grumpy. But you are not left without Never Surrender by The Squinters in this time of trial. The Squinters are old hands at social distancing, having practiced extreme, multi-continent podcast distancing since R12 last year (a different time ). Coco in Pennsylvanian Quarantine, Sparrow from a deserted Northern Beach, Dr Nangs from the reserve trenches a goodly distance behind the frontline and Needles the Rennaissance Man from a seat at the action in Canberra found a window between impressive, confidence-building Giants victory and season (mayaswellbe) cancellation to bring you the first episode of the only Giants AFL fan podcast. And despite the terrible sound quality, poor sound mixing and disgusting internet connection, the content is A1 like Petrol and the Cab Sav. This might be the only pod you get for months, so make the most of it.

If you want to know that everything is going to be fine and that footy will be played for more than two weeks if at all and Covid-19 will go away soon...this is not your listening pleasure.
