Since its release in November, ChatGPT has made headlines across the tech world, with millions of users instructing it to perform a dizzying array of different tasks – telling jokes, writing code, and, most pertinently for us, exploring its applications for accountancy.

Jess Slack is a chartered accountant, part-time finance director and Excel trainer, and has been trialling the ChatGPT tool for a few months to see how it could potentially be used by accountants. She talks to pod host Tom Herbert about how the service and others like it could help the accounting industry become more efficient.
