In this episode I talk about IAQ Solutions that I have actually put to the test and have yielded genuine results for both my family and my clients. 

Today I talk about:

  • The Big Air Drop to offer your clients genuine air filtration and how to use Merv 13 filters without causing airflow problems, in fact this solution will allow you to use better filters and still drop your total external static pressure even while using a Merv 13 filter.
  • Fresh Air: How fresh air can improve IAQ, improve sleep quality, and my preferred method for accomplishing it.
  • On-Demand dehumidification and how asthma sufferers can benefit from it. I also discuss a method that in my opinion is a much better option than a whole home dehumidifier.
  • I also discuss Air Ionizers and the potential dangers associated with products such as the Reme-Halo (Not the ozone free option).
  • How I typically go about having the conversation with the homeowner so that I can offer these solutions, solve problems for my clients, and ultimately make more money and FEEL GOOD about it.

Throughout the majority of my 10 year career so far, I've always been very skeptical of ANY IAQ products or solutions, no one was ever able to give me any kind of data or proof that they worked and because of that I had a hard time trying to sell these solutions to my clients, it felt dishonest. 

Largely because of Nate Adam's of HVAC 2.0 I decided to give these solutions a try at my home before offering them to my clients to see whether or not I could achieve the same results. Partially to my surprise, I was able to make a BIG difference in me and my fiance's allergy sensitivities and her asthma-related challenges.

Hopefully this episode will help give you some no BS solutions that you can offer your clients and you can actually feel good about what your selling and actually help people who deal with legitimate allergy, sinus, or other respiratory challenges and make you the Go-To guy in your local market for improving your clients quality of life.
