A federal appeals court on Wednesday granted a significant win to the Justice Department in its investigation of highly sensitive documents found at former  President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, issuing a partial stay on a lower court’s ruling that froze key aspects of the case.

The  three-judge panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously  stayed the portion of a much-criticized prior ruling by Judge Aileen  Cannon, a Trump appointee, that had prevented the government from  scrutinizing the material gathered at Trump’s Florida residence and  country club pending review from an independent special master.

“We  decide only the narrow question presented: whether the United States  has established that it is entitled to a stay of the district court’s  order, to the extent that it (1) requires the government to submit for  the special master's review the documents with classification markings  and (2) enjoins the United States from using that subset of documents in  a criminal investigation. We conclude that it has.”

The ruling  was a rebuke to the claims made by Trump’s legal team about the former  president’s supposed right to hold on to classified documents, some of  which had confidential, secret and top secret markings.

“[Trump]  has not even attempted to show that he has a need to know the  information contained in the classified documents,” the panel ruled.  “Nor has he established that the current administration has waived that  requirement for these documents.”

Yahoo news is reporting this and Trump himself has confirmed that the FBI is in fact there.

Barr  said that based on a federal grand jury’s recent subpoenas of top Trump  administration officials, it seems like prosecutors are “taking a hard  look” at Trump and those around him regarding their actions related to  the Jan. 6 attack.  “It definitely is a significant event. It changes my view of what’s been  going on,” Barr said. “This suggests to me that they’re taking a hard  look at the group at the top, including the president and the people  immediately around him who were involved in this.”  Former President Donald Trump had to return 15 boxes of documents that  were improperly taken from the White House, the National Archives said  Monday.

Hi everyone, the topic for todays episode is the absolutely pathetic police response to the Uvalde school shooting that left 21 dead.

By now many of us have seen the hallway video where police can be seen doing next to nothing to stop the shooting from happening, until after a full 77 minutes the cops go into the classroom and killer the shooter.

Why did this take so long? Why did highly trained and armed LEOs wait so long and possibly allow more children to be slaughtered?

I know the reasons and they are not pleasant: LEOs today care more about going home to their families than actually serving and protecting. How do I know this you ask? Because I know dozens of LEOs who all basically tell me the same thing: All lives matter and they want to go home to their families just like everyone else. That and being a cop today is harder and less appreciated than ever before.

So basically, LEOs want it both ways: They demand power and respect, with little or no accountability, yet also want to be able to do next to nothing and make the claim they fear for their lives and don't feel loved and appreciated anymore.

Boo, hoo is what I say. Stop snowflaking and do your damn job already!! You knew what the job entailed when you signed up and now you want to back out, claiming you're frightened and don't feel loved??  Unbelievable!!

Cowardice is the only word to use to describe what happened in Uvalde at Ross Elementary. If and until LEOs accept their JOBS, and not demand all manner of love and respect up front, they will continue to fail at their jobs, with public opinion and their own morale dropping even further.

Timothy Loehmann has been hired as an $18/hr officer in the burrough of Tioga, Pennsylvania

He is not qualified to be a cop and was 100% wrong in how he handled the Tamir Rice situation where a toy gun was involved. Toy guns are as American as apple pie & Chevrolet and cops need to take a defensive position not an offensive one when dealing with kids and calls about guns being involved.
