Scripture:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1
Some of the heaviest burdens we carry are not placed on us by others.
They come from within.
The replaying of moments we cannot change. The words we wish we had said differently. The decisions we wish we could take back. Long after everyone else has moved on, we return to those moments and put ourselves on trial again and again.
God has forgiven us.
But we struggle to forgive ourselves.
In this episode of Digging Another Well, we look at one of the most powerful declarations in all of Scripture—and what it means for the guilt we continue to carry.
There is now no condemnation.
Not partial. Not delayed. Not conditional.
No condemnation.
Because the weight of every failure, every regret, every “should have” and “could have” was already placed on Christ.
And if He has already taken it, why are we still carrying it?
This is not about excusing what happened.
It is about agreeing with what God has already declared.
If you find yourself stuck in guilt, replaying the past, or unable to move forward, this is a reminder you need:
The case has already been settled.
You do not have to keep standing trial for what has been dismissed.
In This Episode
Reflection Questions
Closing Encouragement
God is not asking you to punish yourself for what He has already paid for.
There is no condemnation.
Not from Him.
And with His help, not from you either.
