Eyes Wide Shut: The polarizing Epic last film of the Maestro of disturbing material himself, Stanley Kubrick. Did you know that it was intended to originally be a Rom Com? Pick your jaw back up off the floor and tune in to hear Heather and Sarah (somewhat) excitedly wax philosophical about the litany of symbolism in this masterpiece and discuss this movie as a vehicle for critical commentary on the institution of marriage itself.  Arguably the best line in the movie, spoken by a mysterious Hungarian, of course, nails the intrinsically insightful, overweening theme: “Don’t you think one of the charms of marriage is that it makes deception a necessity for both parties?”
