The Nets, without Kevin Durant, played an uninspired game against the Pistons and left with a 122-111 loss. It was a game mired by a poor defensive effort from Brooklyn in a game they slept walked through most of the first quarter. They were able to pull back into the game by the third quarter but couldn't get over the hump.
