In today’s world, social media filters can be used to mislead people from seeing the actual reality of a picture. Similarly, becoming a disciple of Jesus can be presented attractively without ever counting what it will cost. In Luke 14, Jesus invites his audience to honestly calculate what it will mean to follow him.
