On this episode of KROSS BARZ Big OH! and J. Tanae' step into the podcast ring with the amazing Montell "Ice" Griffin, former Light Heavyweight Champion of the World. In this "No Gloves, Just Barz" interview, Mr. Griffin spoke candidly about his childhood in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were supportive in his endeavors to become a boxer and after a several years of taking a break after his father passed away, Montell happened upon an opportunity of a lifetime...to be a member of the 1992-1993 United States Olympic Boxing Team. You can call it kismet, but we call it divine order. Initially purchased by his father, Montell currently runs a gym in Chicago called "Windy City Boxing". Montell is known for his controversial victories over James Toney and Roy Jones Jr.
