Todays outdoor session has literally nothing to do with games and everything to do with our good friends Wallace and Christine. Ordinarily we use this segment as a catch all for game adjacent topics but seeing as though we are less than a month away from their wedding we used it as an excuse to make them feel very awkward (and hopefully loved). Prepare for plenty of gushing over these two and help us congratulate them on their upcoming nuptial. We really, truly love the both of you and are so unbelievably excited!

For all our anticipation TGS ended up being a huge disappointment. While we don't have a ton to discuss this episode, it is kind of nice to have a calm before the storm as we ramp up to October and the maelstrom of triple A titles about to be unleashed.

We might have remembered the intended name of this outdoor session but we forgot to answer two-thirds of the questions asked during the episode. This session was an absolute blast to record and we hope you thoroughly enjoy as we talk games, movies and the importance of consent as it relates to Llama penetration.

Unlike the abortion that was Nintendo's E3 conference, Nintendo Direct showed off some original Nintendo titles we're actually excited to play. Sure, they announced more remakes from their Wii U library but there were also a few remakes that took us pleasantly by suprise. One of our most anticipated titles of the year dropped this month and while we genuinely love it there's another September title that might have stolen the spotlight (for one of us at least). The rest of 2018 is going to be insane and we'll be doing our best to play every AAA title between recordings!

In an effort to keep this podcast updated with more consistent content we give you our first ever outdoor podcast session. We deliver a rountable discussion on a myriad of different topics ranging from pineapple on pizza...to game franchises we'd like to see made into movies. Come share a drink with us (believe me there are plenty floating around) and bask in the glow of our fantastic friendship. We are almost at the end of the summer dry spell so we have a lot to be excited about this week!! Following Gamescom we got a lot of new information about "Devil May Cry 5" and "Cyberpunk 2077" to name a couple of our most anticipated titles. There's a lot of talk about fighting games this week as well since "Soul Calibur 6" info just keeps coming and "Tekken 7" had a surprising and exciting DLC announcement.

This episode is our first ever side mission where we take a break from the normal format and talk with friends and listeners about the games they play and love. The last few months have been pretty dry as we await the monsoon of AAA titles coming from September - December. Nevertheless, there were some quality JRPGs that saw release in July as well as new DLC for Farcry 5. We were essentially hostless this week as well so you better believe we went off the rails!

It's time for part two of our E3 discussion and man were we blown away by Sony's showing this year! They may have only focused on four games but we thoroughly wowed by all of them. Not to say that Sony didn't have a couple of surprises. The biggest surprise from Nintendo's camp is that they basically brought one game to the show and spat on all our hopes and dreams. There was very little in the way of third party titles and no Animal Crossing or Metroid.

In part one of our post E3 episode we talk about the Bethesda, Square Enix and Microsoft conferences. We saw so many upcoming titles that we're excited to play but some of the developers were lacking in presentation. For every dull moment we spent watching the same recycled trailers from Square Enix we got to see Andrew WK introduce Rage 2! We will back with part 2 of this episode later this week where we discuss highlights of the Sony and Nintendo conferences.
