Faith is believing without evidence. Hope is our expectations as to what God can and will do. Faith will activate the power given to us by our Lord.

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Rom 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
