Imagine everything that restrains us from doing wrong is lifted. No fear of being caught, no social restraint, etc. Would our behavior change? Do we do good because we want to, or because we have to? Would we still do what is right? Have you ever had the two sides of your nature warring with each other? A new nature battling your old nature. Why does God give liberty to us?
