In discussing his newly published book, "Mantles," Roberts explains that he focuses on the themes the Bible highlights most. He points out that the prophet Elijah did not complete all his earthly assignments; instead, many were passed down to Elisha. Elisha had to complete Elijah's work before he could begin his own. Roberts asserts that everything from the Old Testament ultimately connects to the cross and Jesus before it can affect our lives today. He mentions the four generational mantles of healing that our nation has experienced in recent times, teaching that God ensures every generation recognizes and understands these mantles, which are infused with His power and presence.

Roberts clarifies that mantles differ from anointings and impartations, cautioning against misunderstandings of these terms. Interestingly, he reveals that a mantle carrier does not openly acknowledge their mantle. The individual carrying the mantle does not control it; only God, the giver, directs its use. While mantle carriers can bless others with an anointing or impartation, they cannot transfer their mantle since only God determines who receives these spiritual gifts. He explains that mantles are distinct spiritual threads that converge to form a single, cohesive purpose.

Furthermore, Roberts stresses the necessity of dying to oneself for God to work through us as He desires. He shares that the ultimate test regarding our assignments on earth is whether we have fulfilled everything expected of us. He warns against imitating anointings to the point where we lose sight of our unique calling. Additionally, he discusses how some individuals fabricate miracles when they lack genuine manifestations to validate their calling, as a means to retain followers in their ministries.
