NO MATTER WHAT

In this episode, Hayle has a powerful conversation with a friend of hers, Miranda Powell. Miranda is a recent college graduate, she is very driven, and passionate about Jesus. One thing that stands out about Miranda, is despite all the suffering she has gone through, her faith is unwavering, and it is rare for someone of her age. In this conversation, Miranda walks us through how anxiety came unexpectedly into her story, and came really close to talking her out. Miranda explains how she realized that she was actually placing expectations on the people around her to “heal” her anxiety, instead of believing that God could heal her. It is Hayle’s prayer that through this conversation, God would use it to provide hope and encouragement, and that you too would begin to Trust God more than you ever have before. 

The No Matter What Podcast is designed to encourage young women in their faith to be steadfast and immovable even in the midst of suffering. The Bible promises that we will walk through suffering, but the prayer is that we walk through suffering in a way that doesn't dismiss it, but in a way that offers it up to the Lord for him to use for our good and His glory.  The podcast is Hosted by Hayle Swinson. In this episode you will hear a powerful conversation with a dear friend Cathy Semeria, reminding us that there is hope in the brokenness; that hope isn’t found in anything this world offers, but it's only found in Jesus. This episode unpacks two moments that changed the course of Cathy’s life. One: At age 42, Cathy’s life radically shifted when someone invited her to church where she surrendered her life to Jesus. You see this is when the light and hope of Christ Jesus finally pierced through her brokenness. Cathy wants you to know that no matter how broken you feel and no matter where you’ve been and what you’ve done, the Lord sees you and He is pursuing you. Two: The day Tinie (her daughter) left this earth and went to be with Jesus was earth-shattering, however, she explains that even in her brokenness God met her there and He will meet you too.

In this episode, Hayle Swinson gets the opportunity to sit down with a friend, Abby Brewer. Abby is a recent college graduate who currently works in student ministry within the local church. Abby is a bright and radiant light for Jesus. In this episode you will Abby walk through how she was only born with one ear. Though she was introduced to Jesus at a young age, Abby explains how she wrestled with how this “Good” God could make her the way she was. Abby walks through what it looked like for her to walk in freedom and no longer be bound by what others thought of her. The hope and prayer is that through this conversation God would encourage you and even reveal more of who He has created you to be. May God raise up a generation of believers that worship God No Matter What.

In this episode, I got to sit down and chat with a great friend of mine, Josie Dobbs Andrews. Josie talks about her and her husband being called by God to move to a new city in which 98% are not Jesus followers and her time as a nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout these circumstances, Josie speaks about what it means for the joy of the Lord to truly be her strength.

Josie challenges everyone to pray to be uncomfortable. and when it happens, do not depend on your own strength but allow the joy of the Lord to be your strength.

I absolutely loved sitting down and talking with a friend of mine, Alex Peavy. She walked through what it looks like to say goodbye to the guilt that had been holding her tightly and walked forward in freedom. Alex gets incredibly honest and vulnerable as she shares how no matter what you’ve done God's grace fully covers you. He chose you. Choose him.

In this episode- Sherita Harkness the importance of saying yes to God even in the yet moments. Even when we don’t want to. Even when we don’t understand. When God is pulling on your heart- may we be a people who say yet not my will but yours be done.

In this episode, Hayle has a conversation with Misty Paige. Misty shares how she walked through 3 different seasons of life where she experienced the loss of all her hair and how she walked through the emotional effects of being a single mother who is bald. There were moments when Misty didn't want to go out of the house or look at herself in the mirror. She would say, despite it all, she wouldn't trade it. God has taught her so much about who He is and has shown her who she is, through it all. I hope you are encouraged by our conversation and may God use it to breathe life into your soul, a conviction in your heart, and hope to your mind.  

Today’s episode dives into this idea of going beyond believing in the existence of God, to trusting in His sovereignty, even in the face of loss. Loss can look different for a lot of people. In Adria’s case, it was the loss of her father at an early age of 8. Through the years, God has taught her that He is still writing her story; that her story didn’t end in tragedy. And the same is true for you, no matter what loss you have experienced God is not done with you yet. Adria unpacks the process for her to get honest with God, to stop denying the existence of her reality, and go to God with it. May God use this episode to offer hope to you, a hope that is only found in the person of Jesus Christ.
