How many times have we dug ourselves THE pit? The pit of despair and misery. A toxic spiral that doesn’t end. Self-pity, being one of the deadly sins, can ruin our hearts and minds if we don’t reach out our hand, for Jesus to hold onto. Otherwise, the only other person in this pity party is you and the devil. Let’s get out of that pit! No more! But the only way we can do that is with the help of our Saviour. Let’s start with our attitude. Less of the toddler tantrums, and more of a grateful heart.
