Have You Made Your New Year's Resolutions?
If you haven't made your New Year's resolutions there is still time. This book will motivate you and make you realize what is really important for the new year. While other people may have already forgotten their resolutions you can write down your goals and start achieving them almost immediately. Of course we are talking about achievable goals like exercising or spending more time with family.
Michaels L. Eads also recommends you write down some dream goals so you have something to think about for the future. But he sets things up so that you only concentrate on the most immediate goals at first. The idea seems to be that if you achieve smaller goals you will be more motivated to go on to achieving the bigger goals. What I liked was how he listed the most popular New Year's resolutions. A lot of people want to eat better and lose weight.
Now there is some straight talk about alcohol and drugs and I believe some people will take the advice to heart. Michael L. Eads presents some convincing arguments about the realities of addictions. He has seen it all and presents a warning for others. So if you are looking to quit smoking, lose weight, stop drinking and get out of debt this book has some good advice.
Take what you need and leave the rest. This book did motivate me to get busy exercising today so I feel like I'm accomplishing one of my goals already. Sometimes all you need is a little advice and motivation to get going.

Worth a look
It is a nice little book with some useful ideas that I plan on trying. There is a bit of a tangent regarding drugs and drinking, but that may be useful to some people, and the book is short enough for it not to matter that much.
