The band Capone has a song out called Oh no… the chorus is kind of catchy it is just oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no… but on Youtube they have a 1 hour loop of the song just going over and over that part of the song… maybe you should listen to it in the morning getting ready for work, just to get it driven deep into your head… NO.

MTT. 5:37 Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil. ( the evil one)

DAY 2
Why it’s important to say no
Let’s go through a couple of reasons why it’s so important to say no.
Do less to deliver more. Focus on one thing at a time, and do it well. You can produce much higher quality work.

Saying no can benefit your performance your career and your spiritual life. Being assertive pays off in the extra time it gives you for what is important.

It’s important for your mental well-being.
Healthy people say NO a lot more than unhealthy people.
Prevent burnout. both mental and physical health.

Build and maintain strong and healthy relationships.
You will add greater depth to a relationship saying no, then by saying yes.

Be realistic about your capabilities. Sometimes, willingness is not the issue. You may not have the right skills and abilities for what is being asked of you at work. This alone is a valid reason to decline a request.
Maybe you have the time, you want to do the job, you are willing to do the job… but if you don’t have the skill - then say no and protect your emotional wellbeing.

When it comes down to it, the reason saying no is so important is because it protects our best interests - and that is us. It has been said many times before, if we don’t take care of ourselves no one else will.

So what are some practical ways to say no.

10 different ways to say no

First of all you can’t beat just saying NO. It is easily understandable, you don’t have to explain it, and it cuts right to the point… but here are some others.

2.I have another commitment.
3.I wish I were able to, but Im just not able
4.I’m afraid I can’t.
5.I don't have the bandwidth for that right now.
6.I’m honored you asked me, but I simply can’t.
7.Thanks for thinking of me. However, I’m not able to.
8.I’m sorry, I’m not able to fit this in.
9.Unfortunately, I already have plans. Maybe next time!
10.No, thank you, but it sounds lovely.
