We talk to Patrick who tells us about a spontaneous trip to Yellow Stone. Patrick and a buddy drove 20 hours on a whim to visit this national park and quickly realized how unprepared they were while back country camping for the first time in yellow stone which is known for its dense population of buffalo grizzly bears and wolves. Throughout this trip they experienced several close encounters with bears and wolves that really showed them how deep in the wilderness they truly were.

Later in the episode we talk about another trip out east where they turned off their phones and flew by the seat of their pants navigating by map completely winging each destination.

This episode was a little bit stupid but showed how being prepared for the worst but having no plan makes for some really good stories. This was my second in person interview and I truly enjoyed hearing how much fun they had winging it while I puffed on a cigar and drank whiskey.
