When David was given an opportunity to rid himself of King Saul, he chose rather to save his life. David was patient. He didn't want to take personal vengeance. Instead, he wanted the LORD to take up his cause. Christians today should avoid allowing frustration with corrupt governments to tempt them into rebellion. God will take care of such things in His timing.
