No Strings Attached was a great, sexy friends to lovers romance! After a couple angsty books in a row, I needed a palate cleanser of sorts. This book was exactly what I needed. I only wish it was a bit longer.

Hayden and Jace have been best friends for a long time. They're also both harboring a secret crush. Hayden is leaving town for her dream job and Jace is scared he's going to lose her forever. When she shows up at his bar, determined to find someone forget the unwelcome news she just learned from her jerk ex boyfriend, he decides it's going to be him. No one else can have her. After they find themselves locked in a storage room and things get steamy, he pushes his feelings aside and agrees to give her one night with no strings attached. Of course, nothing is ever that simple, right? As she gets ready to leave town, he needs to make a move or risk letting her go for good.

I LOVED Hayden and Jace together. Friends to lovers has always been one of my favorite romantic tropes and it was done so well here. I loved the heat and passion between them, but I also loved the obvious strength of the feelings they shared for each other. I could've kept reading about them for at least another 100-150 pages, even with that beautifully swoony ending. I've already peeked ahead at the blurb for the second book in this standalone series and I'm pretty sure I'll get another healthy dose of Hayden and Jace in that book. I can't wait!
