"We'll take upon us the mystery of things, as if we were God's spies," says old King Lear to his fool. He proves himself the 'fool' instead, for the mysteries of God cannot be 'taken', and they certainly can't be 'spied' out. But, praise God! He wants you to know them! In fact, He's gone out of His way to make that happen.
