Torah Portion "'בראשית/Beresheet" which means "In The Beginning" delivered on October 9, 2021. This week's portion covers Genesis/Beresheet 6:9-11:32 and begins, “This is the genealogy of Noaḥ. Noaḥ was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noaḥ walked with Elohim." The days of Noah are a point of reference for the end days. In the reading of our scripture, we see that the sin of the world had finally reached to Heaven and Hashem decided to wipe out all creation, save eight. But unrighteousness still existed, then just as it does now. In this week's Torah portion we learn about why we build fences around the Torah. The world was extremely wicked, so Hashem raised up a leader to guide, lead, and instruct the world to His Torah. Noah was to restore righteousness and bring life to a wicked world. But the world did not want justice! Everyone did what was right in their own eyes, and liked it that way. Pastor Richard teaches about how Hashem walked with Noah. May this teaching bring you shalom. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro’ah Alpha from Isaiah 54:1-55:5 and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Brother Mark from Matthew 24:36-44. We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. We ask that you please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about the God of Israel, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.
