Today on Aligned and Ambitious Radio, we are going to be talking about the mourning that comes with growth.  That’s right. I said mourning, as in #uglycrying due to the growth of your business.

 

Here is the thing, this is the part of business that no one talks about.  As you are experiencing personal growth, you are also going to feel like you are experiencing loss, because there are going to be aspects about your old-self that you are going to outgrow.  They are no longer aligned and they no longer serve you.

 

• Mourning old habits and beliefs
• Mourning through places that inspired you or comforted you
• Mourning the people you outgrow

 

My one tip for you in regards to these growing pains, is to lean into that pain and that mourning and journal the end of your story the way you want it to end.  This allows you to align with your next level self and move through the mourning and grief not resist it.
