PODCAST CREATOR ASSERTS OWNERSHIP
The copyrighted work in question is the content from my podcast, Nobody's Dating Anymore, originally released on February 9, 2025. In this episode, I shared a very personal and unique perspective on modern dating, explaining how I would be okay staying single for life if that's what was meant for me. One example of my original phrasing is:
'Honestly, I am okay. Like, if God is telling me, hey, are you okay to stay single in this lifetime? Like, until you finish this lifetime, I would definitely say yes, I am fine.'
This sentiment was later echoed - not in inspiration, but in near-identical emotional tone, phrasing, and message - by another creator in a different video. While the wording was altered slightly, the structure, spiritual framing, and unique delivery made it unmistakably derivative of my original work.
This isn't just about shared ideas — it's about the expression of those ideas. Copyright protects the way something is said, not just the thought behind it. What was taken from me is my voice, my way of thinking, and my original expression - and it's now being presented to a wider audience for engagement and potential profit.
