Followers of Christ should always work to accept our faults and shortcomings instead of promoting the fallacy that our lives are perfect. In doing so, we show our brokenness and, accordingly, our dependence upon God....and THAT is the foundation for godliness, because no one can strive for perfection on their OWN terms, because nobody's perfect!
