Do let us know what you found helpful - thank You!

In this episode, we feel the kind of grief at the death of beloved family members, especially those of our parents and the matriarchs of our family. Our parents teach us about love and how to survive in the world, but it’s our grandparents that teach us about unconditional love.

Today, our guest, Noémi Beres will share her experience with her two losses, the death of her dad and that of her grandmother, and how she’s used art to cope with her grief.

Here's what (and who) we talk about:

  • Noémi juggling her emotions in between two deaths in the same year.
  • “Focusing on the job” until it’s over, then the grief starts to hit.
  • Noémi’s gentle, understanding, but closed-up father.  What was he like?
  • Noémi’s grandmother who always wanted to be busy. She passed doing what she wanted to do
  • Sewing memories into collages and art therapy.
  • And much more!
