The Trump Administration's public charge rule gets an update in a new appeals court ruling from the 9th circuit. The opinion addresses public charge, and repeals the injunction issued by the 9th circuit. While the public charge rule is still subject to injunctions in other circuits, the opinion itself says a lot about the state of immigration law today and the role of our three branches of government in creating, interpreting, and executing the law.
