Am 3. September 2013 wurde bekannt, dass Microsoft die kriselnde Handysparte des einstigen finnischen Marktführers Nokia kauft. Für insgesamt über sieben Milliarden Dollar wechselten Mitarbeiter, Fabriken und Patente den Besitzer. Microsoft hoffte damit als Fist-Party Hersteller mit seinen Windows Phones endlich im modernen Smartphonemarkt Fuß zu fassen. Ob das geklappt hat, erfahrt ihr in der 14. Rückschau!
