The Wisconsin Beef Council announced the 3rd annual Wisconsin's Best Burger Contest. The contest began earlier this month and runs through Sunday, March 15. You can nominate your favorite beef burger from any Wisconsin restaurant. You simply need to go to the Wisconsin Beef Council website at www.beeftips.com/bestburger. The contest will eventually create an Elite 8 list of eight restaurants with the most nominations. A secret panel of judges will then embark on a delicious journey to taste and evaluate these top contenders. The grand prize winner will be announced on April 24. The best burger winner will be a big part of how the Council celebrates "May is Beef Month in Wisconsin."  La Crosse Talk host Sean Dwyer had an opportunity to speak to Tammy Vassen from the council about the Best Burger contest.
