WORT 89.9FM Madison · Nominations Are Open For The 2021 Silver Lining Awards

The Friends of Madison Arts Commission is holding the 2021 Silver Lining Awards to Honor Creativity, Dedication and Perseverance During the Pandemic. From now until December 15 anyone can nominate one or more individuals or organizations who excelled in creative endeavors and/or the hospitality industry, large and small in 2020 or 2021. A panel of members of MAC and FoMAC will then review nominations and select twenty recipients to be toasted and receive an award.

Kia Karlen is the current chair of Friends of Madison Arts Commission and she joins Friday Buzz host, Jonathan Zarov, to talk more about the Awards and the Event.
