Chatham-Kent mayor Darrin Canniff will be looking to defend his title this fall in the upcoming municipal election, about a dozen Wheatley residents who were forced out of their homes after an explosion in the town last summer are able to move back in again now, and the number of people nearing retirement in Canada has never been as high as it is right now.
