Happy Monday! Matt Noonan is back for his "Monday with Matt" Podcast (also known as the Noontime Sports Week Seven New England College Football Takeaways). 

Today, Matt Noonan shares a common theme from the seventh week (from what he saw): good teams (like the Dallas Cowboys against the New England Patriots) find ways to win games. And we saw that from Harvard University and Bentley University last Saturday to go with some teams from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). 

Speaking of the NESCAC, Matt Noonan predicts which 5-0 team is destined to finish its season 9-0. And the options are the following: Trinity College, Wesleyan University, and Williams College.

Bates College quarterback Brendan Costa joined Matt Noonan for a brand new Noontime Sports Podcast -- yes, it is Friday, so that means it is a "Football Friday" Podcast. On today's show, Costa and Noonan discuss his team's exciting win over Tufts University last weekend, which resulted in the Bates signal-caller earned the New England Gold Helmet (for Division II/III). Additionally, the two discuss Costa's final season with the Bobcats, which happens to be this fall, and his team's upcoming matchup on Saturday, October 16 against Trinity College.

Ryan Cadres joins Matt Noonan for an inspirational talk about his role with the Scituate High School (Mass.) football program -- Cadres, who has Cerebral palsy, is an assistant coach and statistician with the team. Ryan chats with Matt about his disability and how he has used it as a teaching tool, both for his children and the student-athletes he coaches, especially earlier this year when Massachusetts played high school football in February, March, and April. 

Cadres and Noonan also discuss what a typical game day is like for him, as well as what coaches -- there are a few, of course! -- that have made the biggest impact on his career and life.

Jeff Fisher, who is the co-founder of High School Football America (HSFBA), joined Matt Noonan on Tuesday, September 28 for a brand new Noontime Sports Podcast to discuss starting/launching the site to cover high school football in all 50 states. Fisher and Noonan discussed covering football during the pandemic last fall -- what sort of challenges did that present? -- as well as talked about covering games on Fridays, as well as "sunny Saturdays."
