We're back! Estonian surfers Liisi Voolaid and Annelis Rum celebrate the 1-year anniversary of this quarterly DIY podcast on Baltic Sea surfing and our surf trips around the world. Our joys, our pains, our random thoughts and observations.

We'll 100% have English episodes with our future guests soon, but this time we're yapping in Estonian about our 2026 surf trips, Baltic Sea summer surfs, handling the delicate information about surf spots and what's currently happening in our surf side of life.

In episode 3 of the Nordic Surfsisters Podcast, we have a special guest. Meet Anneliis Feenstra, co-founder of the Nordic Surfsisters community and a seasoned Estonian surfer.

We talk about her many surf trips across the globe from the Baltic Sea to England to the Maldives, as well as our latest surf experiences in 1°C water, the off-season, and the raw realness of surfing in less obvious places. We also touch on a gentler topic: surfing and motherhood.

Episode 3 was recorded on a sunny April afternoon in Tallinn, Estonia, as we sat down with the hope that the off-season will soon be over and we can return to our beloved sea.

In our second Nordic Surfsisters podcst episode we went over the past cold autumn sessions in Estonia, our surf trips to Spain, France and Portugal while answering our dear listeners’ questions. And a lot of mental health talk happened.

Episode no.2 was recorded on a characteristically gray November afternoon when we sat down at the surfer friendly mezcal and tapas bar Kõrb in Tallinn, Kalamaja. So you might hear some traffic noises behind, but we hope you hang (ten) in there. It’s all very authentic over here.
