Norm Nathan's Vault of Silliness - Ep 100

Listen Later

I’d like to thank you all for joining us here for Episode 100!

It is a DBG from August 3rd, 1996, appropriately titled: Harte Murmurings.

Why? Because Jack Harte stopped by the Norch Studios this week!

That’s right, Jack and I talk about what he’s been up to the last 26 years since this game aired. Then we play along with the game.

This tape was chosen at random and I’m pretty sure Norm paid us a visit. Jack and I looked at each other in wide-eyed amazement.

So we can get to it, let me give you the players, birthdays and some highlights.

Players:

Jack Harte

Betty from Sudbury

Marge from Indiana

Bruce in Attleboro

And Hiram from Hudson

Bdays:

Tony Bennett

Jay North

Victoria Jackson

Martin Sheen

Richard Adler

John Landis

Martha Stewart

And John Graham

Plus a pleading Jack asks for a date in History:

What year was Calvin Coolidge inaugurated after the death of Warren G. Harding?

Other Highlights:

Peeper Battery Replacement Instruction from Jack

Authorities have contacted Norm and informed him Marge was responsible for a breakdown in essential services on her street.

Norm recites the Jack Armstrong theme.

Norm has taken a job as Jack’s spokesman.

Clare de Lune on the harmonica is an emotional experience.

Norm does many fine impressions.

The Limit, The Strip and The Route all make an appearance.

And to close Jack and I get philosophical, looking inward, zen-like regarding traffic and public transportation.

Episode 100, Harte Murmurings, beats a path to your ears…now.
