So today's episode is about Norse Mythology, and the origins and contexts of the culture. They get into the unusual harshness of the religion and its complete focus on glory through battle and war, something very contrary to most of today's most significant World Religions. They get into some of the darker and weirder stories from the mythology, like the creation from murder myth and Loki being the mother of an 8 legged horse monster. They also discuss how even the Norse gods weren't above sacrifice, and were flawed just as us.
