Listen Later

Alright surf lovers, buckle up for your weekend wave report! The Northern and Central California coastline is serving up some seriously sweet conditions.

Sonoma and Marin County surfers can expect a solid 5 to 8 foot swell on Sunday with a northwest wind around 16 to 18 miles per hour. Temperatures will range from a crisp 55 to a toasty 77 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Those epic tides will bottom out at negative 0.1 feet early morning and peak at 6.7 feet by evening.

Heading down to San Francisco and San Mateo, we're looking at 4 to 7 foot waves with water temperatures hovering around a chilly 59 degrees. Winds will be westerly at 8 to 10 miles per hour and temperatures will dance between 55 and 74 degrees. Mostly cloudy conditions with just a hint of potential mist.

Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay are bringing their own flavor with 4 to 7 foot surf on Sunday transitioning to potentially larger 5 to 8 foot waves by Monday. Patchy fog will add some mystical morning vibes with temperatures ranging from 57 to 78 degrees. Water temperatures are sitting comfortably around 58 to 59 degrees.

Pro tip surfers: Check local beach conditions and potential closures before paddling out. Northwest winds will be your primary companion this weekend so prepare your board and your stoke!

Catch those waves and stay safe out there!
