Many of you especially from the Northern Cape were not impressed by the explanation given by the Northern Cape Education Department regarding the food parcels they gave to the elderly at an event in Marydale. The issue was brought to our attention on the Open Line by Ronald who called in to question the criteria that was used to give food parcels to the elderly. So this morning we’ve invited the MEC for Education in the Northern Cape to give some clarity around some of the issues raised by Ronald.
