Northern Ireland's top female prosecutor has defended the PPS's decision to bring a murder prosecution against a victim of domestic abuse, who killed her partner.

In a wide ranging interview for UTV, Marianne O'Kane reassured survivors that she was prioritising tackling violence against women - including the new offence of 'coercive control' - despite parts of the law not yet being in place.
