The Specht’s endured a tragedy that is every parent’s nightmare, the loss of a child. Eric & Holly take us through this journey, the good and the bad. Following their loss, as a family they immediately started a non-profit to serve as their son’s legacy. Northern Kentucky Hates Heroin has become a very important part of the recovery community and has great reach. The logo serves as a beacon of hope for thousands of people. They tell their story to schools, organizations and at events multiple times throughout the year. It is courageous people like Holly & Eric that help to end the stigma that is attached to addiction & mental health.
