An ordered church rebukes false teachers to maintain pure minds, hearts, and lives. 

An ordered church is led by qualified and competent elders who exemplify and instruct sound doctrine.

An ordered church responds faithfully to the promises and revelation of a trustworthy God.

With astonishing authority, Jesus encourages his disciples to hear his words and commit to do them that they might remain secure on the rock and flourish as a disciple in the kingdom.

As Jesus concludes his sermon, he warns his disciples about two possible paths set before them. 

Jesus teaches his disciples the proper way to relate with their neighbors and with their heavenly Father. 

Jesus teaches his disciples the right perspective so that they can overcome the temptation of misplaced anxiety.
