In an opportunity to keep the momentum of the last week rolling, Northwestern welcomed Rutgers to Evanston and quickly found themselves a bit on their back foot. The Wildcats responded and scrapped and clawed their way back into the game. A late surge allowed them to take the lead before Rutgers ripped their heart out with a clutch game-winner late and went on to win 65-62.
