Michelle is a forensic technician with a local county coroner's office here in northern California. She also works for 2 local businesses, the Parrish Pub and Venus Spirits. In episode 13 she and I discuss what the day to day is like working in a morgue, the impacts the Covid-19 pandemic on both that work as well as the service industry. Tom Lopez is a video journalist with a local news station here in the Santa Cruz area. He's spent almost 20 years in this field and we discuss local news, how stories are chosen, journalistic ethics, and more.
