The Summer Cruise Into The Tom Triangle

Missi hasn't seen very many Tom Cruise vehicles, mostly because she doesn't get him. We ventured on a three hour week tour to seek answers to an age old question that very few have asked - Why ToCru? What's his deal? Why do people like him in movies? (Ok, fine, these are just questions Missi asks).

Our voyage begins with a guest to guide us through our first film: the 2012 jukebox musical, Rock of Ages. Will our guest, Aaron, be able to guide us through the smooth waters of this Broadway musical turned movie? Or are Alice and Missi going to be rocked like a hurricane on our initially departure? Missi Information (Host of 'Twaugust') and Alice Lee (Host of 'The Batmonth') have a list of movies and television shows they have been avoiding for various reasons. They've challenged each other to make a serious attempt to watch the films and TV they've been dreading, to give them a chance instead of pre-hating them. Sometimes they're surprised, sometimes they aren't, and sometimes it goes very, very badly. But hey, they at least watched them!
