I feel like we are in this era of desensitization acting like we don't care because we are not required to. Doesn't that sound so wrong? There's nothing attractive about not caring. I mean yeah, it might help us pretend that our hearts aren't broken when we don't get what we want, but not caring is not something to be proud of.
