All throughout Scripture, there are examples of those who chose not to pass on the mantle of leadership, or to disciple the next generation, and the repercussions that followed because of it. It's not just that we aren't following the direct command from Jesus to make disciples. It's also that it is hurting and costing us when we don't obey.
