It’s easy to step into a new year already focused on everything that feels like it’s going wrong. Stories about churches shrinking, leaders falling, and faith fading seem to be everywhere. And while some of that may be true… it’s not the whole story.

There’s a growing curiosity about Jesus right now—especially among teens, even those who didn’t grow up in church. And more people are spiritually open than they’ve been in years. So maybe the better question is… are we paying attention to what God is quietly doing beneath the surface?

Scripture (NIV):

Isaiah 43:19 – “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
