Mark 12: 28-34.

Almost doesn't count. If this phrase could be applied to anyone in Mark's gospel it would be the scribe who comes to Jesus asking a question about God's commandments. The scribe proves that it's possible to be not far from the kingdom but not in the kingdom. Kingdom citizens are those men and women who are looking to Jesus alone for salvation.
