On this Children’s Day, we’re raising our voices for those who are often silenced: children brought from villages to cities under the guise of opportunity only to become unpaid househelps, domestic workers, and victims of abuse.

In this HER_stories episode, we speak on stories like Obiageli’s , a child whose life changed overnight when she was taken from her parents and forced into labor. We talk about how normalized this system of child domesticity has become in our homes and communities, and why cheap labor isn’t worth the cost of a child’s life.

This is a call to action for families, neighbors, and leaders to protect childhood, provide proper education, and create real support not hidden servitude.
